Norway, January, 2026 – KAON announced the successful launch of T-We Boks III, Telenor’s next-generation set-top box, now available to households across Norway.
Developed and delivered by KAON in close collaboration with Telenor and ADB, the new device represents a major step forward in performance, sustainability, and user experience—and establishes the technological baseline for Telenor’s unified Nordic TV platform.

KAON provided the high-performance hardware and core software platform behind T-We Boks III, enabling operators to deliver a future-ready TV experience aligned with evolving consumer expectations. Powered by Google Android TV 14, the device combines advanced entertainment capabilities with a compact, eco-conscious design, supporting Telenor’s long-term Nordic entertainment strategy. Following the Norwegian launch, the platform is set to expand to Telenor Sweden and DNA Finland, ensuring a harmonized TV experience across the region.

At the core of T-We Boks III is KAON’s latest-generation STB architecture, built on state-of-the-art Amlogic chipsets with Dolby Vision support. With 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2, the device delivers faster performance, smoother navigation, and the scalability required for upcoming Nordic-wide features, including cloud-based services planned for 2026. The lightweight form factor and use of recyclable, eco-friendly materials further reflect KAON’s commitment to sustainable product design.

Running on Android TV 14, T-We Boks III gives users access to tens of thousands of applications, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, and locally relevant video services—ensuring a seamless and future-proof entertainment experience for Nordic households.

ADB complements the KAON platform with its latest Android TV Launcher, fully integrated with ADB’s Graphyne TV backend. The launcher builds on a broad multi-device ecosystem already deployed by Telenor, spanning Linux set-top boxes, mobile, web, Apple TV, and Smart TV clients. The same launcher experience is now being prepared for Sweden and Finland, supporting a shared roadmap, feature alignment, and faster cross-market innovation.
